The Nutty Mermaid

Since the girls and I have a hard time getting in all of our veggies, I have been sneaking them in my shakes! And when they ask why it is green - I simply tell them it is a mermaid shake with seaweed (aka spinach!) - and they can't tell the difference!

Great way to get a few extra vitamins in with my superfoods before germy school season!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookie Shakeology

Now say that 5 times fast lol! This is absolutely fabulous and filling - I love oatmeal cookies and I have a big sweet tooth! Added some mini dark chocolate chips and PB2 to the top - and it is to die for! Enjoy!

Very Berry Strawberry Shakeology

Aubrey doesn't appreciate the peanut butter banana combo that Kate and I enjoy - so every now and then we switch it up for Aubrey - This is her recipe and she named it!

What you need:

  • 1 serving of Strawberry Shakeology
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1/2 purple of frozen berries (Aubrey picked strawberries and a few blueberries)
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 8 ice cubes

What you need to do:

  1. Blend the above until smooth
  2. Garnish with a strawberry!
  3. Enjoy!

Reese's Shakeology

So after a few, okay maybe more like a lot of candy sneaks - especially my favorite Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, I am fighting these chocolate cravings as I try to get on track... I am not the most popular person in my house right now, as I tossed 95% of the candy from Halloween - Let's face it, it isn't healthy for anyone!
 
So now that I introduced this sugar into my body, I am craving it - time to kick these cravings! And here we go! Reese's Peanut Butter Shakeology!

What you need:

  • Chocolate Shakeology
  • 1 cup Almond Milk
  • 2 tsp Natural Peanut Butter
  • 10 ice cubes
  • PB2
  • Dark Chocolate Chips

What you need to do:

  1. In a blender, add in this order - almond milk, ice cubes, peanut butter, and shakeology.
  2. Blend
  3. Pour into a glass and top with pb2 and a few chocolate chips
  4. Enjoy!

Shamrock Shake!

I keep seeing all these posts about Shamrock Shakes - eww! I mean I get it, I used to crave Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs during Easter time - So yeah, I get it.... But I have a great alternative for my Shamrock Shake fans!!! Add spinach for a little more green color!!
